Louis offers client centered counseling for individuals and couples that emphasize deep acceptance and respect for your personal journey through life. Traditional counseling technique is integrated with experiential methods to address your concerns in depth. This provies a powerful means to help you uncover and release those aspects of self which create obstacles to greater joy and well-being, self-acceptance, personal effectiveness and fulfilling relationships.

Louis specializes in body-oriented therapies, healing trauma, EMDR (Eye Movement therapy), energy psychology, meditative states and mindfulness and the integration of psychology and spirituality.

About Louis: Louis Carosio, M.A. is a licensed Psychologist Associate in private practice, a teacher and group facilitator. Subsequent to completing his degree in clinical psychology, he has studied the integration of spirit and psychology through extensive training and experience in meditation, breath practices, body-mind therapies, energetic/spiritual healing and the spiritual quest. He is a long time practitioner of Buddhism and has taught meditation, breathwork, leads an array of spiritual retreats including an annual vision quest, “The Passage”. He is also a certified Guided Self Healing practitioner and trainer for the Guided Self Healing Institute. Louis brings to his work the benefit of extensive therapeutic and teaching experience, compassion and humor, clarity of perception, and the ability to enable individuals to experience the depths of who they are.

Deep listening, insight, energetic therapy and the teaching of tools for change allows you to release what holds you back from your healing and intention and to live more fully from a place of freedom, presence, joy and connectedness to all of life.

Ruthanne specializes in spiritually based counseling and a wide range of Energy Therapies (see next panel). In addition she works with meditation and prayer in healing, transformation through life transitions and finding the soul’s purpose.

Ruthanne Harris Carosio, M.A., is a counselor and teacher in private practice and an ordained minister with the World Congregational Fellowship Church. She has studied Energy Psychology extensively over the past 6 years and is a certified Energy Health Practitioner, a Guided Self Healing practitioner, and trainer for the Guided Self Healing Institute. She received her Master’s Degree in Theocentric Psychotherapy after spending 10 years teaching childbirth and parenting education as a certified childbirth and parenting educator. She has worked for the Young Parent Program and the Lane County Breast and Cervical Cancer Program before opening her private practice in 1999. Over the past 25 years she has studied meditation, Eastern and Western religious traditions and the Divine Feminine. Ruthanne brings to her work a full heart,an ability to help others experience their divine self,and a passion for the possibilities of this human journey.
